- Astroturfing indica infatti la pubblicazione online su forum o altri siti di interventi che puntano a denigrare i prodotti della concorrenza o a esaltare i propri.
L’albergatore che su *** pubblica una falsa recensione negativa dell’hotel che gli fa concorrenza oppure ne pubblica una particolarmente elogiativa del proprio, ovviamente sotto falso nome, oppure interviene con commenti negativi o positivi nei forum incappa nell’Astroturfing, un termine che deriva da Astroturf un’azienda americana che produce erba sintetica. Il termine viene utilizzato in antitesi a grassroot, l’erba selvatica che indica i fenomeni che nascono in maniera spontanea.
