- Stagflacija je obdobje upočasnjene gospodarske rasti in istočasno višje inflacije. Z drugimi besedami, stagflacija je pojav, ki se zgodi, ko gospodarstvo ne raste, cene izdelkov in storitev pa se kljub temu povečujejo - kombinacija dveh nezaželenih ekonomskih pojavov. Taip būna esant ūkio nuosmukiui. Tokia sąvoka atsirado XX a. 7 dešimtmetyje. Kai OPEC sumažino naftos gavybą išaugo jos kaina. Kainos augimas padidino infliaciją ir tuo pačiu bedarbystę.
