Birmingham conference 2010: Conflicting information

Just noticed that the Home Page says 1 person has registered, while the Conference Page says, on the one hand, that 15 people have registered (without identifying them) - as opposed to the 185 expressing an interest - and, on the other, that payment is not yet possible.

This is due to a change in the process that took place late last year. Until last year people could 'pre-register' and pay later and they would appear as 'registrants' on the page. This has been changed with the 'express interest' system and the Birmingham conference was the 'transition' conference as 15 people had already pre-registered befgore the new system was implemented.
No one actually registered and paid yet since, as you point out rightly, payment... See more

The payment interface is still under development and should be ready soon. We will notify you as soon as payment is possible.
