i am not sure this term could be translated in english cos it seems tipically spanish or even french (palais des sports) but don't if there is the good equivalence in english, maybe you could keep the spanish term in translation

This is a much closer equivalent, I think, than "arena", especially if the reference is to two or more facilities located in close proximity to one another. In any case, "sports arena" would not typically used as part of the name of a facility.

As European leagues are just now beginnig to translate their websites, the vast array of terms becomes mind boggling. In Eastern Europe, Sports Palaces are a common albeit unique kind of complex/ indoor arena, and should be identified as such. If it were deemed a Sports Complex or Indoor Arena, they would have called it Complejo Deportivo, or Arena. Translators have a responsibility to respect the idea or concept of the source, while introducing the rest of the world to that concept as such.
