English term
machine not tagged out
English to French
Tech/Engineering
Human Resources
work related injuries
Examples of Root Causes (of accidents):
- Machine not locked out/tagged out, employee has not received lockout/tagout training in over four years.
-Lifting too heavy

The actual term I've suggested may be wrong, but it's as much as I can remember...

En anglais, on a l'expression : ''Tagout/lockout before servicing''.

: 'tag out' is actually much more than a simple marking in this way, it is a quite complex safety procedure

I agree with you. It's the reason why I have indicated ''on verrouille les commandes''. I also know it's a complex procedure, involving several crafts : electricity, mechanical, instrumentation, etc. In Canada, the expression I propose is largely used.

tag-out/lock-out = consigner
tag-in/lock-in = consigner
tag in = lock in => déconsigner (une machine)
