Wrap lashing allows to secure laterally the load in the driving direction. The lashing devices will be wrapped as slings around the cargo and will be fixed at the lashing points of the vehicle. At least, three lashing belts are required. In addition, the load has to be secured in and against the driving direction.

Ici, on utilise plutôt des sortes de sangles, comme le suggère l'expression « lashing belts ».
Par ailleurs, le site ci-dessous traite de « sangles d'arrimage ».

Précision : une élingue (sling) sert surtout à lever une charge. Ce n'est pas une sangle.

: I don't think they're mixing up sling and lashing: the cargo is to be lashed as if it were being slung // stowing (arrimer/ranger) and lashing (amarrer/attacher) are different//in the right context, "ranger" is an accurate translation of "stow"

It is exactly what I explained in French : ne pas confondre élingue (used for lifting) and sangle (courroie) (for lashing). ''Ranger'' is not the same thing as ''arrimer''.
