Hello
This is about the composition of a decorative paper.
On a colored base paper, there is provided a "whole solid layer" in yellow or white, printed by "whole solid printing" (?). On top, there is a patterned ink layer.
I thought of "durchgehende Feststoffschicht", but that seems rather unsatisfactory. Any ideas?

"solid" im Druckbereich heißt meist "Vollton(fläche)";
Ich glaube, hier ist das Aufbringen einer durchgängigen Farbschicht gemeint, was ich auch durch das Beispiel, das Johannes anführt, bestätigt sehe:
farbiges Trägerpapier, Volltonfläche (in einer anderen Farbe) undnzumSChluss Oberflächenbeschichtung (z. B. Hochglanz)

: bin ich nicht von überzeugt;"solid" heißt in der Druckersprasche auch "Vollton(fläche)" - und auf die Farbe etc. deutet das "ink" in deinem Beispielsatz hin; s. auch meine Antwort
