You are a world-renown record company, and want to release a new ****record XL***

What is a record XL? Is it a long duration CD?

Bonjour Michel. It looks like "record XL" really is a type of record, despite the francoform word order. I thought it might be non-native, because "world-renown" should be "world-renowned" (of course).
