Clearly continuing in the same creative vein, but can I say creative line?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Discussion

Evans (X) Oct 1, 2009:
I have translated instructions for the use of a logo in the past. They are usually very specific, stating the design, its size, location, orientation, the space that must be left around them, etc.
I suspect that what they are referring to here is consistency in the style. Perhaps you need to say something like "using a consistent creative approach" or "bearing in mind the need for creative consistency".
Linebyline (asker) Oct 1, 2009:
thanks, I like approach. So far I've put 'giving consideration to creative continuity' to avoid the problem.
Linebyline (asker) Oct 1, 2009:
Thanks, it's a logo which is a brand name, red on white.

The full sentence is:
Se aplicará en tarjetas el logotipo en su versión negativa, siempre que esto sea posible, teniendo en cuenta la continuidad de la linea creativa y los elementos del diseno.

It's definitely not referring to an existing campaign btw.

Many thanks for your input
Bubo Coroman (X) Oct 1, 2009:
do "línea creativa" and "elementos del diseño"... refer to the promotional work or to the product itself? What kind of product is it? (e.g. furniture...)
patricia scott Oct 1, 2009:
If the original is from Spain, la línea creativa is probably talking of the follow-up of an existing campaign that will include same elements in the new ads.
Agree with Lisa.

neutral AmyLahb : 'stream' sounds good, but I believe 'creative trend' is more technical and used more in the field of advertising and marketing than 'stream.

creative trend

I worked in and Advertising Dept. and they used those terms a lot.
By línea creativa they referred to following the same conceptual trend on ads of the same campaign.

Creative line is fine, but creative trend is more used in that context.

creative concept

Seems more natural and transparent than the other alternatives suggested thus far. Also seems to be used in the advertising industry (i.e., entering the terms "creative concept"+"advertising"+"branding" returned 51,600 results on Yahoo).

Suerte.
