dorsopathy / back disorders
"A convincing example for this is the Bad Harzburg Compact Cure "Degenerative spine sicknesses and chronic dorsopathy". It requires three weeks of intensive work at the movement apparatus by the parient. Because doctors have recognized in the meantime: The best medicine for back problems, which is after all Germany's top ranking public sickness, is a purposefully trained body. In former days, mostly heat and radiation were the treatment for spine pains and stiff shoulders. In Bad Harzburg, patients are also treated with pain relieving frost."

dorsopathy (back disorders)
Personally, I'd use "back disorders"
Note that the German uses the plural form, while English uses the singular. Dorsopathy may not be the most commonly used word, but there are some English sites using the term. (I intentionally skipped over any sites originating non-English speaking countries.)
Although there were no significant differences in life-threatening disorders such as cardiovascular disease or cancer, the POWs had significantly higher rates of disorders of the peripheral nervous system (particularly upper limbs), arthropathy (joint disorders), dorsopathy (back disorders), and peptic ulcer.

Dorsopathy can also be found in the VA's research data base:
