This is from a contract relating to maintenance services for industrial premises.

I have had a look at the glossary and although Gian's answer was comprehensive, I was wondering if there might be a snappier way of saying this. It is a heading so really can't be too long.

If I've understood correctly, the anti intrusion equipment is connected to a monitoring centre...

Any ideas very much appreciated.
