Viene de un libro que trata el tema de la democracia En esta frase no entiendo el significado de “en forma delgada.”

Sucede con la amistad, un “bien relacional”, esto es, un bien cuyo consumo no es excluyente, no se puede adquirir en forma delegada

"By delegation" simply does not work in English here.
