Thanks for your inputs. Actually you seem to know what you're talking about, maybe you should list an interest in "Textiles" ;)

I'm still learning what all the targeting means exactly, so you're right about the members; on the other hand I'm quite happy targeting the Textiles industry because otherwise I risk getting irrelevant input and these are highly specific terms. That's what I've done with my latest terms and e-mails are sent to only 128 members.

I wasn't necessarily expecting an overwhelming response but I've been pleasantly suprised with the help offered by the community.

Re: dérouleur, I do believe they're referring to a machine, as per my links. http://www.textiledictionary.com/beam indicates "ensouple" for beam.

@Marc You may like to note that by targetting your questions excessively (especially by insisting on having answers only from site members (who are the minority here...) you severely reduce the likelihood of getting any answers at all to your questions - specially during the weekend!

I believe the correct term here is 'warp beam', but I am unable to post that as an answer because you targeted 'members only'.
