I am translating a text about the construction of the iconic Chanel tweed jacket.
This is a Chanel quote:
« L’envers vaut l’endroit » avait elle l’habitude d’affirmer.
It's related to her iconic jacket. I think she's referring to how the inside/wrong side of her jacket is just as good as the outside/right side. Not sure of a catchy way to put this in English though.
