sesiones de visionado

Spanish to English Social Sciences Other cultural theory
A research proposal by a Spanish critic:

Hemos propuesto constituir un grupo de trabajo formado por personas interesadas (trabajadoras del museo, integrantes de la comunidad investigadora, invitadas externas, etc.) y llevar a cabo varias sesiones de visionado de materiales, lectura, debate, etc. en torno a casos de estudio concretos.

Viewing sessions?

Thanks!

viewing sessions

Your own suggestion. "Visionar" just means viewing, i.e. a posher way of saying "looking at something".

NB: am not sure if I'm happy with "A research", as I always use "A research work" or similar.

Mea culpa. I must have read it as "A research proposed..."

neutral Billh : It says A research proposal. What's wrong with that?

I didn't see "proposal" in the header when I posted. It's there today, so maybe I had an attack of selective myopia...?

sessions to review

I think that 'viewing sessions' sounds slightly strange although this is obviously the meaning. For me a more natural way of translating this would be 'session to review the materials, reading matter, debates...'.
