Spanish term

a partir de

Spanish to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng Water chemistry

¡Muchas gracias!

Discussion

Magdalena Ponce (asker) Sep 10, 2013:
Thanks, Neil! I'll surely tell the author!
Neil Ashby Sep 10, 2013:
@ Cuiviewen "Fe+2" should always be written "Fe2+" with the "2+" en superscript as you state. It is important that the "2" comes before the "+".

This seems to be the sense.

Suerte.
Note from asker:
Thanks, Robert! I had thought of this option but for some reason I couldn't find convincing examples in Google Scholar. Thanks so much!

in this context it simply means "from"
Peer comment(s):

neutral Cinnamon Nolan : Why didn't you just agree with Robert, adding your comment? His "from" was posted at 2 min. & yours at 12 hours...

neutral Robert Forstag : Agree with Cinnamon. The only possible justification (not a great one at that) for offering an identical answer would be including authoritative references, and claiming scientific expertise. But you've done none of this.
