German term

Fertigspritze

German to English Medical Medical: Instruments
ist zum Einmalgebrauch bestimmt. Der Inhalt der Fertigspritze, sowie die äußere Oberfläche der Fertigspritze sind steril durch feuchte Hitze gemäß EN 554 und EN 556.

The closest I could come to "Fertigspritze" in my web research was Merck's EpiPen, which is called a "Fertigspritze" in German and an "auto-injector" in English. But surely an auto-injector is not necessarily a Fertigspritze, oder?

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Both "prefilled syringe" and "ready-to-use syringe" were excellent choices. I initially favored the latter one, but after further research discovered that the company I'm translating for uses the term "prefilled syringe" in some of its literature."

one time use syringe

see ref:
"Have on hand at all times a quick acting carbohydrate source. For those on insulin, an injection of glucagon should be available. A glucagon kit is expensive (approximately $90 for a pre-filled one time use syringe). "

disposable or one-time use prefilled syringe

cannot be used partially and then again

I mean disposable or one-time use as interchangeable
prefilled as the word to follow in either case
disposable prefilled syringe or one-time use prefilled syringe
the prefilled syringe may not be used partially and then again not used completely and then refilled
Peer comment(s):

neutral Johanna Timm, PhD : disposable syringes do not necessarily have to be filled
