Je me demande comment rendre cela, n'ayant jamais eu l'occasion de rencontrer ce genre d'utilisation de wrong avant
Voici ce dont il est question
Une jeune femme, jane, qui tient un gîte arrive chez elle, dans son gîte, et découvre sa sœur, gaby,(qui doit se marier le lendemain) au lit avec un client du gîte, Barry, qui n'est autre que le cavalier de Jane au mariage. Voyant cela, elle met sa sœur et le client dehors. Quelques heures plus tard, elle va chez sa mère et lui demande si elle n'a pas vu gaby. Voyant son trouble, la mère lui demande ce qui ne va pas. Et Jane de dire :"nothing apart from the fact that I just walked in on gaby having sex with Barry wrong." Et elle appuie sur le wrong. Comment traduire cela ? Je vois pas bien ce qu'elle veut dire. Barry Le faux-jeton ? Ou je fais fausse route

Si elle appuie sur le wrong, il me semble que c'est parce qu'elle reprend la question de la mère:
qu'est ce qui ne va pas?
je viens de tomber sur Gaby en train de coucher avec Barry, voilà ce qui ne va pas.

I had not read the sentence this way, but I agree, so translation is something like: 'rien, sauf que...' ?

In which case, it can be simply rendered in French by something like "Rien, à part que...".
The way she is accentuating the sentence should be enough of a clue - the "wrong" at one end of the sentence is paired with the "nothing" at the very beginning of it; IOW the sentence is:
"nothing [apart from the fact that I just walked in on Gaby having sex with Barry] wrong."
or as Tony put it:
"nothing [apart from the-fact-that-I-just-walked-in-on-Gaby-having-sex-with-Barry] wrong."
so "With Barry wrong" is NOT one unit but bits of two:
- With Barry = part of "the-fact-that-I-just-walked-in-on-Gaby-having-sex-with-Barry"
- wrong = part of "nothing [...] wrong" there well may be 15 words between them, they still go together.
Impossible to tell whether this is:
Barry Wrong (i.e. Barry the nerd etc.)
or
Barry, wrong? (i.e. "was that wrong of me?" or "didn't I?")
Also could it possibly be "...Barry's wrong", i.e. "nothing apart from xxx IS wrong"?
Or;
Nothing. Apart from the fact that I just walked in on Gaby having sex with Barry, didn't I?
