Spanish term

puesto de salud movil

Spanish to English Science Medical: Health Care health
Se apoyará a 2 centro de salud. Además 46 comunidades de dificil acceso al transporte público serán asistidas con un puesto de salud movil.

Estaba pensando en dejarlo como outpatien clinic pero creo que no se ajusta para nada al contexto.

Sugerencias.

Discussion

Muriel Vasconcellos Oct 20, 2014:
@Lydianette Centers are larger than clinics, and clinics are larger than posts. That's the way the hierarchy goes. This is universal public health terminology.
Lydianette Soza (asker) Oct 19, 2014:
Digo outpatient health center.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "A little bit hard to choose this time, but considering the context and previous translation of puesto de salud, I select Muriel's."

mobile health clinic

The Mobile Health Clinic is a doctor's office and clinic on wheels. A specially outfitted truck provides examination rooms, laboratory services, and special medical tests to those in remote areas who have access to little or no medical facilities, and to patients who do not have the resources to travel to obtain care.

On days when the clinic is closed, it’s common for Samaritans International to make home visits to those unable to come to the compound for treatment. In addition, Samaritans frequently travels to other communities to set up “mobile health clinics” for the underserved populations who are in desperate need of medical care.

I would never dream of doubting Muriel's word but out of interest I have visited the WHO website and there are more results for 'Mobile clinics' than 'Mobile posts'. I suppose it depends on whether there are any doctors in the posts/clinics your text refers to.

neutral Muriel Vasconcellos : There's a difference between a *health clinic* and a * health post*. The health post is a lower level of care; there is no doctor on board. It's an international term used by the World Health Organization. You don't see health posts in developed countries

I'm sorry, but I've never heard of a 'health post'. Maybe it's a UK/US thing. I remember there used to be a clinic for young mothers held once a week in the village hall where I lived. Thank you for your comment.
