This term has popped up in a TWB project. The source language is AUSTRIAN German and I can't find it in my dics or here in the KOG. I ASSUME it refers to some kind of perc or activity for employees, considering where it is in the sentence. The doc is otherwise quite straightforward, so any help from you whiz kids (meant respectfully) would be greatly appreciated!
In 2013 haben wir viele Neuerungen bezüglich Mitarbeiterförderung, Werbung und Information für die KundInnen und Expansion in Angriff genommen, u. a. gibt es seit 2013 regelmäßige monatliche Meetings mit FilialleiterInnen und Unitmanagern, sowie monatliche Preiskurse und Schulungen.

Sounds as if the company in question has implemented a series of monthly training sessions on (product) pricing for its employees. 'Kurse' and 'Schulungen' appear to be largely redundant.

Guessing a bit, but courses that gain you some kind of "certificate of skill" seems to fit quite well

The awards would be certificates saying that employee xxx has absolved training in the subject matter - I had thought of "Preiskurse" in the sense of exchange rates, but it doesn't seem to fit in with "Mitarbeiterförderung/employee advancement"
