Bonsoir,
"As a sexologist who sees a variety of clients, scheduling in ‘us time’ is an assignment I give almost every couple. But the commitment must stick; it’s so easy for couples to let a weekly sex date become a social date"
Merci

en simple rancard
I think that's really the idea — as long as 'rancard' doesn't have the connotation of specifially 'coquin' ?

Yes, that's really why I suggested 'rancard' — the idea that this well-established couple, instead of arranging a specific time to 'have sexy fun', goes back to just 'dating', like they did at the outset, but without its going any further; a bit like the idea of "I never go all the way on a first date".

: I like this idea, but the trouble is, 'date' doesn't necessarily mean a 'sortie' — it might, for example, simply be an intimate candle-lit dinner for 2 at home (that somehow just doesn't quite make it to the bedroom...) "Sorry, dear — washing up!"
