Glossary entry (derived from question below)
Spanish term or phrase:
para todo tramite excepto primera emision, tramites de salud, educacion..
English translation:
all processing, other than for the initial issue and processing for health and education purposes
Spanish term
para todo tramite excepto primera emision, tramites de salud, educacion..
I wonder if anyone could help me with the 'para todo tramite' phrase?
Is there a set legalese phrase that could be used here? I was thinking it might be something along the lines of 'when presented as supporting documentation' ?
Here is the full context:
Esta partida debera anexar el timbrado de ley para todo tramite, EXCEPTO primera emision, tramites de salud, educacion..

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.
How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.
Proposed translations
all processing, other than for the initial issue and processing for health and education purposes
El timbrado de ley = statutory stamp, but perhaps "stamp duty" would be more meaningful in English.

The paragraph is strewn with errors, without the proper capitalisation of letters and without accents. Its this what you have been given to translate? Wow!!

While not a part of the question you specifically asked, but part of the paragraph you are apparently working with, the second sentence which I mentioned above in my first posting, makes no sense. The info from the "Cámara de ..." should read "(Este documento) no podrá retenerse por autoridad judicial o administrativa.... http://www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish_to_english/law_patents/182...

Here too is another one which may help with "Esta partida debera anexar el timbrado de ley .." but it will need to be adapted:
GLOSSARY ENTRY (DERIVED FROM QUESTION BELOW)
Spanish term or phrase: Este documento (Esta partida in your case) debe anexar el timbrado oficial correspondiente (timbrado de ley in your case)
English translation: This document (---) must contain the required government stamps ... (En Argentina, se refiere a las "revenue stamps" o "timbres fiscales".- O sea, el sellado de ley, como se lo llama allí.).
HTH!

Thanks .. I thought so too. Disastrous. Uuf!//I've just noticed something else: the 2nd sentence, "Podrá retenerse ..." makes no sense. See: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/spanish_to_english/law_patents/182... ..
