Depth:
Adjust depth to maximize the image while including all necessary structures
Harmonic Imaging:
Should be used to optimize visualization of endocardial borders.
Lower frequencies may be optimal for adults
ECG Tracings:
All images must have ECG tracings with QRS waves visible and limited artifact
Imaging Consistency:
All images should be acquired in a consistent manner to the baseline scan.
If possible, use the same scanner make, model, and frequency setting across all visits.
If possible, the same sonographer should also acquire imaging for a subject.
Image Blinding:
All images must be blinded of protected health information (PHI) except for the assigned study site and subject number for tracking purposes.
