German term
bei Fremdverschulden auf Regie
German to English
Law/Patents
Law: Contract(s)
Assembly Contract
This is from a contract to assemble a system:
"Tägliches Säubern der Anlage und im Umkreis der Anlage (bei Fremdverschulden auf Regie) in Absprache mit Bauleitung."
I've never seen "auf Regie" and am unsure whether it means "as directed" or "charged on a time and material basis." and I'm frankly unsure of what "Fremdverschulden" has to do with it. My guess is "charged on a time and material basis if a third party is responsible for getting the system dirty." But that is a very wild guess, so...I would love some clarification if anyone can help.
Thanks!

We may need to go via French or look at in Regie to find a translation that is not Denglish. BTW, une régie in FRE cna also mean a state tobacco etc. monopoly, namely one that is supervised from the very top.
