Romanian term

având posibilitatea de împuternicire

Ioana-Leda Costea-Nicolae (asker) May 31, 2021:
I asked and got the answer that the CFO was the one receiving the power of attorney for certain documents. I`m going to close the question without selecting an answer, but thank you all for your help. If anyone wants to post the right answer, I`ll reopen the question and select it.
mrrafe May 30, 2021:
Murray Liviu-Lee's Murray example made it more understandable for me (thanks), but asking is certainly an option.
Liviu-Lee Roth May 30, 2021:
dacă CFO/Director este cel împuternicit este grantee/appointee - he is the designated Attorney in Fact for certain documents
Ioana-Leda Costea-Nicolae (asker) May 28, 2021:
Thank you, I think I will ask the client so I know for sure.
Liviu-Lee Roth May 28, 2021:
o speță Murray cites an example in which the board of directors appoints a chief financial officer and that CFO needs someone else to write checks for the corporation but lacks the authority to designate someone as a bank signatory. That CFO could similarly not grant someone a POA to sign checks; rather, the board would typically assign that function to another individual.
mrrafe May 27, 2021:
ambiguous Am a US lawyer. From the context provided, I don't think your question can be answered. Must ask client or find more background about the CFO's work.

having the option of granting authority > being entitled to grant a P of A

The Finance Board > în fața administrației financiare > can in dealings with the Tax Authorities / Rom. etc. Revenue Dept. / pentru anumite documente speciale > by granting certain, special documents :grant members of the Board a Special vs. General Power of Attorney to deal directly with such agency.

If I understand the asker's question correctly inductively from the scenario rather than deductively from the Romanian, there is no rotation of members of the Board taking turns to *receive* such P of A: but quaere a verb - like grant or award rather than receive - is missing after posibilitatea.

cu plăcere: Liviu-Lee has hit the nail on the head. I was going to add 'granting delegated authority' as an alternative, though got sidetracked by a possible mix-up with a sub-delegation, namely the Board's delegate or agent directs the taxing P of A to be transferred onwards to a 'sub-delegate'.
Note from asker:
Thank you:)
I talked to the client and apparently the director would be the one receiving the PoA
