why in hardned mortar the hydration process has started already and remixing it destroy the bond between cement . this bond cannot regain strength again by simply adding fresh water to the mortar

liaison / liaison chimique
I guess this is probably that has something to do with chemistry, whereas bond means "chemical bond" that would be just "liaison chimique" in french, but if the original text isn't using "chemical" you might choose to substitute it by liaison only.
