German term

Der ausserordentliche Güterstand der Gütertrennung ist nie eingetreten.

German to Portuguese Law/Patents Law (general) Marriage certificate
O regime extraordinário de bens de "separação de bens" nunca ocorreu/nunca se verificou. (Será isto?)

Obrigada desde já!

Proposed translations

o regime extraordinário jurídico de separação de bens nunca se verificou {por liquidação}

meines Erachtens: durch Auflösung der Gütergemeinschaft > por causa de liquidação
da comunhão geral de bens > o ponto de partida (the starting point in a marriage or civil partnership etc.)

In English law: by severance of the joint tenancy = joint title by 1. contractual agreement of the parties 2. by Will 3. judicial separation or divorce 4. bankruptcy 5. death.

PS I have an idea what the German means, but not eaten enough Madeira cake to be confident of the Portuguese ...

You are welcome, but you can always earnestly try to re-open the question if you so desire.

Otherwise, thank you for reminding me of both Madeiran cake recipes. I meant (pre-dentures) the rich, sugar cane recipe and (post-old man's dentures fitted) the soft, spongy one.
Example sentence:

IATE: de Güterstand CJUE ehelicher Güterstand CJUE eheliches Güterrecht CJUE pt regime matrimonial CJUE regime de bens do casamento de allgemeine Gütergemeinschaft COM pt comunhão geral

UK: Change from joint tenants (joint owners) to tenants in common (seperate owners) This is called ‘severance of joint tenancy’. ... You can make this change without the other owners’ agreement.

Note from asker:
Obrigada, Adrian, foi mais ou menos a solução que adotei... e fechei a pergunta antes de você responder. Os pontos iriam obviamente para si! (Madeira cake: do you mean the soft, spongy one, or the very rich, sugar cane recipe?)
