الرقم الثلاثي is written at the bottom of the Egyptian birth certificate above the رقم مسلسل serial number. When I google it I only get references to what I think is an Egyptian army conscription number. Can anyone explain to me what it is?? Many thanks for your kind help.

ملحوظة: هناك خطأ شائع ذائع بين العرب في استعمال كلمة رقم محل كلمة عدد ، فالأرقام عشرة فقط ، من الصفر إلى 9 ، أما الأعداد فهي كل ما تكوّن من رقمين فأكثر. فالصحيح - مثلاً - أن أقول: عدد هاتفي ، وليس رقم هاتفي!ا
