Yes, I'm pretty certain that, in a sense, it means 'additional option' - it is a matter of being able to print/affix a specific designation so as obtain a more favorable rate (than regular mail). You may have to reconstruct the sentence a bit:
My humble suggestion would be:
...the customer will be unable to select the print option 'Economic' for...
