Het is een soort schroef, maar ik heb geen enkele referentie gevonden in het Engels. Ik heb plaatjes gezien van een 'boorparker', maar daar werd ik niet wijzer van. Het ziet eruit als een schroef, soms met een speciale punt. Ik heb geen idee in wat voor opzicht het een speciale schroef is, wat zijn functie is.
De term wordt gebruikt bij de montage-instructies van accessoires (bv. een reling) voor een aanhanger. De boorparker word daarbij door een houder geboord in de aluminium ondergrond.
