I've been thinking about this word since yesterday!
The context: A researcher is exploring people's motivation for smoking, so she ***reconstructs*** the life-histories of smokers through in-depth interviews.
"Reconstruct" here is used in the sense of
"To assemble or build again mentally; re-create, e.g.: reconstructed the sequence of events from the evidence." (www.answers.com definition)
I tried the literal إعادة بناء, and other words like استرجاع and others, but none seem to work. I feel there's a very obvious Arabic word that fits perfectly, but I can't think of it.
Any ideas? Thanks!
