How can we translate "round" in:
"She was hit by an object about one inch round"
I got that "round" is used to show the length of a line surrounding something:
Can we say محيط ? I haven't found محيط In any E A dic., though.

شكرًا لك أخي حسن، صحيح ولذلك قلت عادة، من سياق الكلام نستنتج أنه القطر وليس المحيط لأن الكلام تقديري ومن الأسهل تقدير القطر

but then the object in this case has be مستدير, right?
of course round means that the object is circular :-) cant be anything else.
