J'imagine qu'il s'agit d'une image, mais je n'en comprends pas bien le sens. L'idée de la carte bleue qui risque de "chauffer" ?

: Oui, d'autant plus que d'abord elle chauffe, et ce n'est qu'après avoir bien chauffé (donc, pas au commencement), qu'elle peut commencer à fondre. Sinon, il faudrait dire : "la carte bancaire était déjà en train de fondre".
