Quant à business interruption insurance, le GDT donne assurance contre les pertes d\'exploitation. Il faut donc combiner les deux notions (pertes d\'exploitations et dommages) dans la phrase.

In the US they do say "property causality or property/causality"...
You will see "property causality insurance" all over the place in the US. I've seen it printed and I've heard people say it. If it started as a spelling mistake, it has taken definitely taken on a life of its own though.
You will find both "property casualty insurance" and "property causality insurance" and I think they way it may have come about is like this....
"Property/Casualty Insurance" according to list of definitions in a property contract I have here, means "a policy that covers damage to property AND that covers the policyholder's liability for damages caused to other people and their property"...so because it's about having damage done and causing damage...it's also being called "Property Causality Insurance".
The first is probably the formal usage, but that doesn't mean to say the latter isn't in common use, in the industry not just among the public. I would check with the client!
