Re your note: I think that the context makes it clear that they simply omitted the words "of expenses" here. It is not unusual to leave out words that are taken to be understood, though this is undesirable when drafting a legal document, it happens.

| Mon problème est que "advancement" seul est habituellement traduit par "à l'avance" et que d'autres clauses du contrat mentionnent bien "advancement of expanses" je pensais donc qu'il ne s'agissait pas d'avances. |
