I've checked those out. They're really larval fish and not worms at all.

Assuming you're right, good call, and the images you've got posted suggest you know something about the subject. Frankly, it never occurred to me to look beyond what it said on the menu.

When I saw the menu I called the owner & asked if I could come down & see them. If they really were worms I wanted to know what kind. He said okay so I ran over with a magnifying glass in my pocket. He was surprised to hear they were fish & checked with the cook in charge of them. She knew perfectly well they were fish, she just thought they looked like worms & besides, sea worms on the menu sounded much more exotic than baby fish!
I do love sea worms, just not as food. It would be like eating my children.....
