Hat jemand eine Idee für “empower”, für “empowering belief” und für „empowering belief statements“? Außerdem ist auch noch von „disempowering belief statements“ die Rede. Und an einer Stelle wird "empowered" in Gegensatz zu "frustrated" gesetzt.


This **empowers** our Will to Win.

5 minutes (work alone) - After each person has answered the questions, complete your Compelling Why statement and include two **empowering beliefs** to support you in accomplishing your goal.
- I make a positive contribution in the health of people everyday.
- Every time I am in an office, in some way large or small, I am adding value.
- My customers benefit from my knowledge.

Our response related to thinking and action needs to be on what we want.
You will notice that when we focus on events in the past, and specifically on things that didn’t go as planned, we feel frustrated and our will to win is compromised.
When we focus on what we want and where we are going, we feel **empowered** because this is something we can do something about.

You will notice that when you focus on things you can’t control, you feel frustrated and your Will to Win is compromised. When you focus on things you can control, you feel **empowered** because this is something we can do something about. Do: Read each one and ask the group if this a “can control” or “can’t control.”(The phrase appears, you discuss it, and then it moves down under the appropriate heading.)

When we are focused on our goal and what we can control, we feel optimistic, aware and **empowered**. This supports our will to win and strengthens us to take assertive action to reach our goal.

Identify one or two **disempowering belief statements** we make around closing that limit our effectiveness and Will to Win.
