English term

beaver tail

English to Japanese Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks Function of a track
Beaver tail should be a common term in English. I could find a lot of google search results.

But in Japanese, I can find any of the equivalent term.

Is 荷台スロープ or 荷台用スロープ OK?

While Beaver tail looks line the one prefixed to a track bed but 荷台スロープ looks like the one sold separately.

beavertail truck

From the pictures at Google Images, I gather that the ramp (or platform) is built into the truck and flaps down like a beaver's tail. (Beavers slap the water surface to warn others of danger.)
