Z kontekstu wynika, że chodzi o usługi udziałowców wewnątrz spółki międzynarodowej (MNE). Wytyczne "OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and Tax Administrations 2010", w szczególności rozdział VII, określają warunki, kiedy takie działania mogą być odpłatne, przy założeniu, że ceny transferowe są cenami rynkowymi.
