2.Close the *roller clamp*, then remove the protector from the spike and insert it perpendicularly and to its full depth into the rubber stopper of the solution container at the point marked with a circle.
Do not insert the plastic spike of the set slantwise against the rubber stopper, or give a sideways force, to prevent the spike from bending or breaking.
