Ale moim zdaniem zachodzi tu nieporozumienie: „fixed angle” to jedno z możliwych (obok „a horizontal”) określeń dla „measuring block” tj. „a fixed angle measuring block” or „a horizontal measuring block”.
Discussion
Ten kąt "fixed angle" w przyrządzie do pomiaru wzrostu musi być prosty. Określenie "kąt prosty" w geometrii znaczy "90 stopni kątowych" - wyjaśnienie w podręczniku do geometrii ze szkoły podstawowej. Chyba nie ma potrzeby wyjaśniać dokładniej?

Dawno, dawno temu - czyli wtedy, gdy między Bugiem a Odrą dinozaury spacerowały, a internetu jeszcze nikt nie wymyślił ;-) - taki przyrząd stał w każdej szkole podstawowej w gabinecie lekarskim.
Jeżeli nie wierzycie, to zapytajcie rodziców albo dziadków.

Rzeczony kątownik ma być alternatywą do prostopadłościennego bloku.
