Baseball game narration
This is a movie in which Kevin Kostner is a pitcher in a baseball game. I got the idea, but suggestions will be welcome. The narrator of the game says:
"Breaking ball, a comeback right at Billy Chapel to hold onto the line drive. this is one of those ****chuck-and-duck*** pitches. When you throw a ball like that, and it comes back at right that quick, it's almost like the ball catches you."

The fishing background of the expression is explained in the link below, though I'm not too clear why the fisherman has to duck. Maybe so that the big salmon he catches doesn't hit him on the head!
In baseball, it seems to be to avoid getting hit by the ball coming straight back at the pitcher.
