Unwrap the vial transfer adaptor, but leave the adaptor in the original package.
While holding the vial transfer adaptor by the packaging material, press the spike of the transfer adaptor through the rubber stopper of the vial until the outer flange of the transfer adaptor is completely attached to the outer ring of the flip-off vial cap.
