English term

up yours with a twirling lawnmower

May offend English to Spanish Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters general
Any idea how I can translate this phrase? It is a known phrase in the movie Nightmare on Elm street. Thanks in advance.

Here is some context:

I had a hard-on this morning
when I woke up, Tina.

Had your name written all over it.

There's four letters
in my name, Rod.

How could there be room
on your joint for four letters?

Hey! Up yours with
a twirling lawnmower.

Nyah! Rod says
the sweetest things.

Thanks Jane!!

"up yours" es un millón de veces más ofensivo que "vete al diablo":es algo que no dirías en frente de tu mamá. todo el diálogo es muchísimo más grosero. Se sugiere esperar 24 horas antes de elegir para recibir más propuestas
JaneTranslates Apr 29, 2006:
Daniela, there's a box you can check when you ask the question--I think it says something like "special characteristics of this question." One special char. is "from homework or test," another is "may be found offensive." Don't worry, we'll recover! ;-D
Daniela Alsina (asker) Apr 29, 2006:
Oopps Sorry, everybody, I had no idea this was what it meant. Please let me know where I should mark my question as offensive for any future case. Thanks everybody for all your help! :)
JaneTranslates Apr 29, 2006:
Interesting question. But it should have been marked as possibly offensive.

el twirling lawnmower es un agregado bastante pintoresco...
en mi época, para mandarnos al diablo y agregarle un 'toque' decíamos: "hervite y tomate el jugo" don't know if that could be applied here, but it's the general meaning... good luck

véte a tomar por culo

Quite offensive. Not wishing to cause offense to anyone. Agree with comment that should have been marked offensive!
