English term

piston charge line

English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering valves
for the context please see my previous question. this sentence comes after the sentence I just quoted in my previous question

"When the piston charge line is opened, water enters the lower chamber of the low-pressure actuator. Water entering the low-pressure actuator flows to the middle chamber through the inlet eyelet, which is pressurized by system air pressure in the upper chamber."

..,what's the piston charge line?? what's its function?

The line by which pressure is applied to the piston

The piston is presumably in a cylinder, to which water, air or hydraulic fluid is supplied to drive the piston, and this would be the line supplying one of these.
