He wiped some sweat from his forehead. I thought Id never find it. These subdivisions are hell with all these cul-de-sacs. Have you moved? No. this is the same place, isnt it? It is.
Its the same place. I fixed it up.

suburbia

You've got yourself a nice little new house at the end of a nice little cul-de-sac, 2 cars, 2.2 children, etc etc, and to round it all off (the icing on the cake) you've even got a nice little bird feeder, and your nice little garden.

Perfect!

bird feeder - nuts enclosed in a wire casing that you can hang / mount in the garden, so the birds can come and peck at the nuts.

This is either meant sarcastically, or said with awestruck admiration.

Total assumption/guess/own interpretation given lack of context ;-))))

Re Note

He has added all the suburban trimming to his house in a cul-de-sac on a housing development. It is so nice, that X thought he\'d moved house.

It\'s really nice. You\'ve EVEN got yourself a little bird feeder and everything.

You\'ve gone to the finest detail in making this property the ultimate suburban des res (desirable residence).
You\'ve thought of everything.
The little bird feeder is so cute, the absolute pinnacle, the finishing touch.

Re: Extra Note.
If the brother is feeling guilty that he hasn\'t visited before, didn\'t even know if this was the same house, then he is probably trying to flatter his sister, compliment all the work she\'s done on the house (fixing it up), so he\'s saying that he can see how much she\'s done - got yourself a little bird feeder and everything.

Well done you - you\'ve thought of everything.
