bag job

English Tech/Engineering Printing & Publishing image, halftone, plates
Manually step-and-repeat a **Bag Job**...

This is the title of a training activity for a prepress software. In my knowledge "bag job" is something illegal and I believe that here there is another more technical meaning....

I suspect it simply means a job for printing on bags, where step-and-repeat is being used to reproduce many of the same images on the same printing plate.

print job of artwork required to make (shopping?) bags

I'm guessing here, due to lack of context (but it's quite an edicated guess):

Maybe the procedure described in this training activity might clarify what they mean here... Without further context, my first thought is that they are referring to a printing job, where they need to print the artwork needed for actual bags (as in "a business card job", "a label job", "a CD cover job",... "a bag job"!)

For instance, if the artwork needs to be printed on plastic shopping bags, you will need to do a step-and-repeat of it along the width and length of your print media (roll of plastic film?), which will then be cut to size as required to make each individual bag.
