I asked a friend working at Oracle support for the translation and here is his reply
Pour "Lettres Chèques" la trad est : "Cheque payment letter" mais on dit aussi "Lettre cheque" en direct en Français sans accent.

Lettres Chques
This might be
an inherent part of the program, I cannot say, or maybe the program relates to the priniting of means of payment ...
I don't know about other countries, but in France companies etc. tend to use "lettres-chèques" for payment. These are sheets of A4 paper of cheque-paper quality with a detachable cheque form at the bottom. Under optimum conditions, appropriate software will print the cover letter at the top of the page and the cheque at the bottom.
Have not been able to find an EL equivalent other than what follows:
CollSoft, Solutions In Software, Payroll Software
... New Cheque Listing Report; New A5 Payslip Style; Support for A4 payslips with detachable cheque. What Errors Have Been Fixed? Fixes ...

Still have not succeeded in finding an English equivalent, and Charlie\'s comment leads me to believe with greater conviction that there is none and the \"lettres-chèques\" are a specifically French phenomenon.
For one English-speaking country at least, MYOB, a software company, proposes enlarging/repositioning the \"payee\" field on cheques to include the address and aligning it with the window in envelopes, thereby dispensing with the need for an advisory letter which often for all incense in porpoises serves only to carry the address.
D\'autres cultures, d\'autres pratiques!

: In the UK, National Savings pay out premium bond winnings with letters like this. Don't remember ever getting one from any other organisation (not that that many organisations send me £ anyway :-) )

I wasn\'t sure about the context, since you wrote that this had to do with computers and software programs.
However, here is the definition of a voucher/voucher check from Avneyon, DICTIONARY OF FINANCE.
\"A check with a part that usually can be torn off, on which the details and the reason for the payment are recorded, such as the date, sum, invoice number, deductions.\"
This seems to be the same as the answer you chose above. You might want to use the more formal financial term.
