The text is the economic history of China, written in list format as above.

I'm not really sure what they mean by "greffes capitalistes" here. Can anyone help please? Probably being a bit dim as my mind is already on Easter holiday!

I'd use some kind of paraphrase - these zones were 'directly lifted' from capitalist systems, or 'transferred wholesale' or something like that.

The Harrap's law dictionary also defines "greffe" as a "registry" or "clerk of the court's office." The link below says that at this time period. "private and collective developers were allowed to register and operate in China..."
