French term
PM
French to English
Medical
Medical: Health Care
Vaccination program
It appears in a briefing document for people heading out to do measles vaccination campaigns in refugee camps in Africa.
I have no idea what PM could be or how to translate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is bad phrasing, they meant: 'medical staff, paramedics and non medical staff (whether the latter are paramedics or not)'.

: No need to restate (and abbreviate) "paramedics" when it was just mentioned // Rewriting the source text is not a good solution here. Plus, in such a context, non-medical staff does not include paramedics.

I explained why. EDIT: And why disagreeing with my answer only? Two others also restate, but have no reference. I am wrong if the sentence to translate is perfect, which has yet to be proven. 2nd EDIT: Yes, it does. Please see my note.

Personnel Medical - Medical Staff
Medical staff or non-medical staff'. A good synonym for medical staff is health-care professionals.

Having now looked at cc in nyc's comment, do you think it could be 'personnel militaire'? It could make sense, although with an abbreviation, we could go on guessing for a while :) It's proably best to ask the client

Maybe, based on PM = personne morale? If this is right, I might say "as individuals or as groups" for "PM ou non."
IMO, there's no need for PM to signify "xxx médical/paramédical") since it immediately follows "médicaux, paramédicaux et non-médicaux."
Perhaps it's a reference to NGOs or other groups of doctors, paramedics and non-medical personnel that are participate in the vaccination campaign.

Here's a Reference where "personne morale" seems to be used with this or similar meaning:
a) il est placé dans un établissement en vue d'y être éduqué ou en attendant que d'autres dispositions soient prises pour son éducation;
[bold added]

Ooohhh.... I just found the English version of this very same report. It says:
148. Only in certain cases are minors punished. If the judge has ordered that the guilty minor be placed at the disposal of the authorities:
(a) He/she is placed in a State institution so that he/she will be educated there or in another manner at a later stage, or the Board will provide for his/her education;
(b) He/she is entrusted to a particular person or legal entity (association or foundation or institution for the welfare of children) with its seat in Suriname, so that such a legal entity or particular person will provide for his/her education.

Aucun rapport. // Your own links.
